YOUR DELIVERY TIME AND COSTS WILL BE CALCULATED AT THE CHECKOUT

Orders placed Monday to Friday up to 2pm BST (excluding bank holidays) will be dispatched within 24hrs. Orders placed after 2pm BST on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.

All shipments are dispatched requiring a signature as proof of delivery. If you subsequently change the delivery method to one that does not require a signature for example 'leave in a safe place', then any issue arising from non-delivery of the shipment will no longer be the responsibility of Childsplay Clothing Ltd.

Any Change of Address needs to be authorised by Childsplay Clothing Ltd, if this is attempted via the delivery agent or by any other method then Childsplay Clothing Ltd will not be held responsible for non-delivery of the shipment.

We will send you tracking details as soon as your order has been dispatched. If your parcel is late please track it in case it has been held or already delivered. If you are unable to locate your parcel please contact us within 10 days from estimated delivery. If your order came in a Childsplay Clothing gift box there is no need to return it. This is our gift to you.

Customs Duty & Taxes

For selected countries* Childsplay Clothing will automatically pay any customs duties or taxes so your parcel will be delivered to you without any additional charges or delay. The amount you pay at checkout is the final amount for your order. Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) services are marked in the chart above and the options at checkout will be marked "IMPORT DUTY PAID". Please select this delivery option to take advantage of this service.

For all other countries, once your parcel arrives in your country it may be liable to Customs Duty and Tax. If this is the case your parcel will be held at your local Customs office until this is paid. If charges are not paid your parcel may be destroyed or returned to us. Unfortunately as we do not have control over these charges, ANY costs incurred by Childsplay Clothing Ltd as a result of unpaid Duty Charges AND loss in value of merchandise will be DEDUCTED plus a Re-stocking and Handling Fee equal to 30% of the order value will be CHARGED before any refund is issued. Please check with your local postal service if you are unsure about customs charges in your country.

Store Collection

For security purposes we are unable to offer in-store collection of orders placed on the internet. We accept all major credit/debit cards in-store and are happy to hold items for you for up to 48 hours if you wish to reserve them before your visit. Returns

21 DAYS TO RETURN

If you are not completely happy with any items from your order you may return them to us within 21 days from delivery (subject to the conditions below) for a refund or Store Credit (you can choose on your returns form). Please note your returns must be delivered to us within this time, returns received beyond these periods will not be accepted unless agreed otherwise (or in the case of faulty items - see below).

How to return your items to us

On delivery your parcel will include a returns form with instructions, simply fill in the form and pack it along with your items into our re-sealable bag.

Order information

1. Order information. Start by filling out your order information such as your name and your order number which can be found at the top of your invoice. (starting with 100 eg.100598711)

2. Return information. Fill out the product numbers for the items that you wish to return/exchange and tick the relevant reason for return in the boxes provided.

Packing your items

3. Packing your items. Pack your return item(s) using the original packaging provided.

Before securely sealing

4. Before securely sealing. Double check you have included all the items you wish to return and your returns form.

Label the package

5. Label the package. Attach the returns label securely to the box, ensuring the previous delivery label is covered. Print your returns label (see below).

Complete the return

6. Complete the return. Make sure your parcel is securely sealed and then drop it off to your local post office.

Please track your return and confirm it has been delivered to us safely. Once received, your return will be processed and you will receive an email confirmation with the details. We aim to process all returns within 5 working days of delivery, however during busy periods such as sales it could take up to 10 working days. We would appreciate your patience and understanding should this be the case. Please note that once we process your refund, the funds may still take up to 5-8 working days to show in your bank account.

Exclusions

For purposes of hygiene we can not accept the following items:

  • Bottles and dummies
  • Underwear
  • Swimwear
  • Earrings

Faulty items

We take a great deal of care to quality-check all items thoroughly before they are dispatched, but please check your items carefully on delivery for any damage/faults and return them within the above returns periods for a refund, store credit or replacement.

All items returned as ‘faulty’ will be subject to a thorough investigation to confirm that the damage is due to a manufacturing fault and not normal wear-and-tear, which is not covered by our returns policy. The item may need to be shipped to the manufacturer for them to assess and decide this, which can take up to 14 days.

Faulty items returned beyond the regular returns period above will be professionally repaired and returned to you at no cost. If the item is unrepairable we will offer you a full or partial Store Credit or replacement (at our discretion) depending on the extent of the damage.

Sale Selection

Items purchased under the SALE section can only be returned for Store Credit or an exchange within 21 days of delivery.

UK ONLY: This does not affect your statutory rights - so you may still return promotional items for a refund under the Distance Selling Regulation, which requires that you provide us written notification of cancellation within 14 days of delivery.

End of season sale (70%)

Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery for either an exchange or a store credit only.

Free Uk Returns (Download printable label)

We include a free postage-paid returns label in every parcel, please stick this onto your parcel and drop it to your local post office. You will not be charged for your return and it will take 1-2 days to be returned to us. Please keep hold of your proof of postage.

Please note we do not take responsibility for any loss or delay caused when using our free returns service. For added guarantee, especially for a highly valuable return, we advise that you use your own guaranteed postal method and purchase insurance.

International Returns (Download printable label)

For your convenience we have included a sticky address label for your parcel. Please note this is not a postage-paid label so you must add stamps or pay postage when sending.

CUSTOMS & DUTY

To avoid incorrect Customs & Duty charges when your return arrives in the UK, you must mark your parcel as: “RETURNED UNWANTED GB MERCHANDISE”

PLEASE DO NOT USE FEDEX FOR YOUR RETURN

Fedex automatically charge customs and duty on every parcel returned to us which. This charge will automatically be deducted from your refund.

To avoid disappointment we advise that you place a new order for any items you wish to exchange for and request a refund for your return, as the items you want may sell out in the time it takes for us to receive your return. We are not able to hold items and cannot guarantee their availability prior to receiving your return.
