YOUR DELIVERY TIME AND COSTS WILL BE CALCULATED AT THE CHECKOUT
Orders placed Monday to Friday up to 2pm BST (excluding bank holidays) will be dispatched within 24hrs. Orders placed after 2pm BST on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
All shipments are dispatched requiring a signature as proof of delivery. If you subsequently change the delivery method to one that does not require a signature for example 'leave in a safe place', then any issue arising from non-delivery of the shipment will no longer be the responsibility of Childsplay Clothing Ltd.
Any Change of Address needs to be authorised by Childsplay Clothing Ltd, if this is attempted via the delivery agent or by any other method then Childsplay Clothing Ltd will not be held responsible for non-delivery of the shipment.
We will send your tracking details as soon as your order has been dispatched. If your parcel is late please track it in case it has been held or already delivered. If you are unable to locate your parcel please contact us within 10 days from estimated delivery. If your order came in a Childsplay Clothing gift box there is no need to return it. This is our gift to you.
Customs Duty & Taxes
For selected countries* Childsplay Clothing will automatically pay any customs duties or taxes so your parcel will be delivered to you without any additional charges or delay. The amount you pay at checkout is the final amount for your order. Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) services are marked in the chart above and the options at checkout will be marked "IMPORT DUTY PAID". Please select this delivery option to take advantage of this service.
Countries with Duty Free Shipping USA, All EU countries, Kuwait, Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, UAE.
For all other countries, once your parcel arrives in your country it may be liable to Customs Duty and Tax. If this is the case your parcel will be held at your local Customs office until this is paid. If charges are not paid your parcel may be destroyed or returned to us. Unfortunately as we do not have control over these charges, ANY costs incurred by Childsplay Clothing Ltd as a result of unpaid Duty Charges AND loss in value of merchandise will be DEDUCTED plus a Re-stocking and Handling Fee equal to 30% of the order value will be CHARGED before any refund is issued. Please check with your local postal service if you are unsure about customs charges in your country.
Store Collection
For security purposes we are unable to offer in-store collection of orders placed on the internet. We accept all major credit/debit cards in-store and are happy to hold items for you for up to 48 hours if you wish to reserve them before your visit. If you are not completely happy with any items from your order you may return them to us within 21 days from delivery (subject to the conditions below) for a refund or Store Credit (you can choose on your returns form). Please note your returns must be delivered to us within this time, returns received beyond these periods will not be accepted unless agreed otherwise (or in the case of faulty items - see below).
CONDITIONS FOR RETURN
Items must be in brand new condition and show no signs of wear with all original packaging, garment tags and labels still attached. Original shoe boxes and other containers that products are sold in are considered part of the product and must also be returned in undamaged and unused condition. Items returned without their branded packaging will not be accepted.
We do not accept items that have been damaged by wear and tear, altered or washed incorrectly (please check washing instructions on all garments before handling). When trying items on, please be sure they do not come in contact with perfumes, sprays, creams or other chemicals, and be sure to try shoes on a soft clean surface.
EXCLUSIONS
For purposes of hygiene we can not accept the following items:
- Bottles and dummies
- Underwear
- Swimwear
- Earrings
- Headbands and hairclips
- Items that are supplied to order cannot be returned (e.g. Sarah Louise)
FAULTY ITEMS
We take a great deal of care to quality-check all items thoroughly before they are dispatched, but please check your items carefully on delivery for any damage/ faults and return them within the above returns periods for a refund, store credit or replacement.
All items returned as ‘faulty’ will be subject to a thor ough investigation to confirm that the damage is due to a manufacturing fault and not normal wear-and-tear, which is not covered by our returns policy. The item may need to be shipped to the manufacturer for them to assess and decide this, which can take up to 14 days.
Faulty items returned beyond the regular returns period above we be professionally repaired and returned to you at no cost. If the item is unrepairable we will offer you a full or partial Store Credit or replacement (at our discretion) depending on the extent of the damage.
Items purchased under the SALE section can only be returned for Store Credit or an exchange within 21 days of delivery.
UK ONLY: This does not affect your statutory rights - so you may still return promotional items for a refund under the Distance Selling Regulation, which requires that you provide us written notification of cancellation within 14 days of delivery.
